Leaktests, viruses or not ?

First of all, before any explanation, the answer is NO.

1 - My AntiVirus detects this leaktest as a virus, what's wrong ?

It is a fact that many AntiVirus softwares detect leaktests as malware : either as trojan, viruses, or spyware.
AntiViruses use a generic detection method, which means that whatever the malware, if it uses a leaktest source code (available for many of them) it will be detected.
However, such generic detection will wrongly flag a leaktest as a malware, whereas it isn't.

2 - What's the purpose to use a detection which bring false positives ?

The point is that the code the leaktest uses can be harmfull, but the leaktest uses it in an harmless way, and friendly warns the user if the harmless test has succeeded.
If the test has bypassed the firewall, this mean that the same code used in a trojan would have bypassed it too, that's why AntiViruses detect the _code_ used by leaktests to detect such trojan.

3 - How to ensure I can use the leaktests safely, without downloading malwares ?

Leaktests are just a demo, and are completly safe and harmless.
To be completly safe, only download leaktests hosted on this website, and check the file MD5 fingerprint given for each leaktest, it is the only way to ensure you have the file you expected to download, moreover if you have downloaded the leaktest elsewhere, always check the checksum available on this website.

Once downloaded, you can create a folder, and exclude it from your AntiVirus resident protection.

4 - Is there any risk to browse this website or to download what it offers ?

No, everything downloadable on this site has been used and tested deeply, and are from trusted sources.

I don't host any malwares of any kind on my website

And it will never be the case, I will never add spyware or advertises against money, and will never link to a real worm/virus source code, or a virus executable, or anything else which could hurt the readers.
